Guidelines

Welcome to PhotoshopTutorials :w00t:
You will find tutorials specifically for Photoshop: photomanipulation, digital painting, special effects, etc.

Although this group has been vacant for awhile, it is slowly coming back to life! But under certain guidelines:

Members:

Anybody who wants to learn Photoshop, can join. You may also submit one tutorial a day (for the time being, just to get the group going.) But read the submission guidelines first.

Contributors

By sending a request to become a contributor, you understand the guidelines...you have read the guidelines, and you have your own tutorials to provide (and you may also suggest other peoples' tutorials to the gallery too. But most of all, you do have your own you'd like to share, and they are well-written (at least with a few techniques explained) with decent results.

Submissions:

:bulletpink: This group only allows tutorial submissions that require Photoshop. It can be any art style, but it must require the use of Photoshop. And it must be a tutorial.

:bulletred: Tutorials containing copyrighted work, will be declined. This would mean tutorials using Google images or copyrighted photography or celeb images. Please do not join the group to share tutorials containing that kind of content. Use STOCK PHOTOS or your own photos.

:bulletred: Tutorials must be good quality with a readable font, and they must be on this website; not an outgoing link to another website.

:bulletred: The tutorials must contain content that artists can learn from. This means that it should explain at least a few techniques and how to use the techniques.

:bulletyellow: And last but not least, please submit or suggest tutorials that have a decent end result.
Please read the submission guidelines before submitting any kind of tutorial.

Members can upload 1 tutorial a day (for the time being), and Contributors can upload a 1-5 a day.
If you are a member who absolutely understands the entire submission thing, and if you would like to be a Contributor, you can send a request.

Please don't request for a Contributor just for the status. Only apply for it if you can take on the task, and have tutorials that fit the submission guidelines, and understand the guidelines.

I have just a question for someone who know photoshop basics.
I have seen tutorials and speedpaints from PS and I realized that they have a speccific way to fill in the base colour to a sketch. I don't know how they do it, but the draw all over their object which should be coloured and then they use some kind of PS button to make the colour fit fast and perfectly into the piece of the sketch.

you can see it there: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzSUwX…

I am a student that was searching for a way to get feedback from others in the same field as me...... So I started this site so people can post their Art that they want feedback on... Including their Graphic Art/Bitmap Graphics/Vector Graphics/Digital Publishing or Digital Designs... Anything you post is still your design it's basically for others to give you feedback on... For educational and other purposes... Please be respectful of other peoples art here... As for feedback... Be honest...But no need to be rude with your feedback... If you are caught being disrespectful to somones art you will be banned from this group.

Aloha there! I have a question regarding Photoshop Elements text. I am a self taught artist, but has recently received my first commission to do a book cover for someone.  The text fonts I have available is rather Blah, can anyone recommend a good text source? Also, if I want to simply have a white text with a solid black outline how do I do that? I can find shadows and such but no solid outline, perhaps I am too blind to find the right button!  Please if anyone could help me I would VERY much appreciate it!!!! Thank you very much ^_^
